Two different kinds of offer appear on this page, and they work differently at the counter.
Manufacturer tire rebates come from the tire brands themselves. Buy and install a qualifying set — almost always four tires — and the manufacturer pays you back, usually as a prepaid card claimed by mail or online. The value does not come off your invoice here; it arrives from the manufacturer a few weeks later. These programs run on the brand's calendar, and some windows are only two weeks long, which is why the dates on each card matter.
Franco Garage offers are ours. They come off your bill at the counter. Mention the code when you book or when you arrive, or type it into the optional promo code field in our online booking form — it gets recorded on your appointment so the front desk sees it before you get here.
In Ottawa, tire timing matters more than most places. Manufacturer winter programs generally open in early fall, and both the rebates and the stock thin out as the first real snowfall approaches. Booking a changeover in September or October usually means more choice of tire and a shorter wait than calling the week the forecast turns.

Most tire rebates are mail-in or online claims paid by the manufacturer, usually as a prepaid card — they are not a discount applied at our counter. You buy and install the qualifying set of four tires here, we give you the receipt and the rebate details, and you submit the claim to the manufacturer. The card typically arrives several weeks later. We will tell you exactly which models qualify before you commit.
Manufacturer rebates and our own offers are separate programs, so a tire rebate can usually be claimed alongside a Franco Garage service offer. Two Franco Garage offers generally cannot be stacked on the same service. If you are unsure, ask when you book — we would rather sort it out in advance than surprise you at the counter.
The rebate value is tied to the tires themselves, and most programs require that the tires be installed to qualify. Mounting, balancing, valve stems and disposal are quoted separately. When we quote you a set of tires we quote the installed price, so you can see the real number before the rebate.
Manufacturer winter programs typically open in early fall and run to the end of December, though some brands run short two-week windows instead. Because the best rebates and the best stock both disappear as the first snow approaches, booking your changeover in September or October gets you more choice and a shorter wait than booking in late November.
Start a booking, and on the step where you enter your name and contact details there is an optional Promo / Coupon Code field. Type the code there and it is recorded on your appointment, so the front desk sees it before you arrive. You can also simply mention the code when you call.
